Large pieces are large molded pieces, made of transformed rubber, that adapt to the specific requirements of our clients in very diverse sectors, such as the supply of filtering, washing and industrial drying machines, engineering, manufacturing companies. construction, fluid conduction, etc.
The complexity of the design and manufacturing process of these large technical parts lies in the fact that it is necessary, first, to define and then control the manufacturing conditions, since the process variables suffer significant deviations due to their large volume.
Our engineering and technical advisory department supports our clients in defining the type of part they need for their structures.
We work these pieces by compression in hot plate presses, subjecting the raw pieces to pressure and temperature for a certain time, after which the piece is suitably vulcanized.

Structural supports for offshore equipment have the function of protecting platforms installed in the open sea and exposed, by location and by their own size, to multiple forces that could seriously damage them. Due to these factors and many others, the supply of structural bearings for offshore platforms is an important challenge for a company, since it must be designed, manufactured and tested in a rigorous manner, meeting high demands and passing exhaustive quality controls.
From experience, at Interbuna we know that the “jacks” that lift offshore platforms for oil and gas extraction need the cushioning of structural supports, which require the maximum in terms of load transmission and sealing to be able to counteract the forces and slow down corrosion caused by the harsh conditions of the high seas.
